POEM: Stressed Out Heart

I felt not-so-cool yesterday (and I didn't want to blog rubbish). So I wrote this poem as a great relief. I do hope this helps you out of depression, anxiety, and all other forms of worry too.

Stressed Out Heart

All words are in cluster
Even pictures are blurry
I can't pin them in
I need to gather my thoughts
But there is a blockage
Which power is behind this?

This doesn't look familiar
Everything seems inane
Time is wasted. People stay away
I know I have a choice
To let this fade away
But how do I do this?

This is unfitting
It's like a hole, dark and lonely
A feeling out of space
My heart screams here
I want to. . . come out!
Can you hear me?

Wait, I hear footsteps
Someone must have heard me
And might be coming to get me
Slowly, very slowly, I breathe
I should be still and quiet now

This is the moment
When I hear His voice
"Come. Come to me."
"I'll speak peace to your heart's storm"
For in me, you'll find what you long for

Oh, I know He is right here
So close
I can sleep now.

  3. I loveeee your blog! It So different. You write poems when you stressed out. That's cool. For me, I get angry unnecessarily and stay away from people. Stress is bad

  4. Hi Serial. Great to have you here. Welcome to Hear Rays! *rings a bell* Well, I do write poems to express an emotion. Each line tells a feeling. For example, the first stanza illustrates how stress creates chaos in your thoughts and visions. But you can always choose to stay calm within (4th stanza).
I can relate with what you said about staying away from people. I value some time alone with myself too. It helps me to relax and recharge.
I believe that no matter what happens on the outside, we can learn to have our inner light radiate peace, joy and love.

    Thanks for coming around, Serial.
