What Keeps You Going?

Some people are still asking why I quit my job. *sighs* The answer is simple; My heart sees the picture.

The Power of Sight

When people question your decision, do you feel encouraged or demoralized? I don't know how exactly it feels but it does make me think, rethink, think.

Permit me to say, I'm a deep thinker. I painfully think it through. (Note: thinking doesn't mean worrying). I usually close my eyes and open my heart to find focus. When I do that, I see the light clearly.

I have a glimpse of my future. God has promised me a purposeful, fulfilling, and giving life here on earth (not just in heaven). I believe in THE WORD that never fails. This is what keeps me going.

I choose to think what really kept Abraham going in his journey of faith was the power of what he was seeing. What God showed Abraham was convincing enough to sacrifice Isaac.

What do you see?

When you see the picture, you will move! Those who see are those who move forward. Those who see are those who press towards the mark. They can't afford to fold their hands and watch. They run!

If you need everyone to agree with you, you will stay in the boat, and never be able to walk on water. You have to GO! whether you get support or not.

To See is to become.

Sarah probably didn't support Abraham in his decision to sacrifice his only son - Isaac. But he moved anyway. And today, he is the father of many nations. You need to understand that what is ahead of you is greater than what is behind you. You just have to see!

By faith, I created my first two e-business cards. :$

I am so captivated by the picture I see. My heart cries and rejoices in hope. I can't wait to have a regular media show that will make me talk, receive calls and answer questions. I can't wait to interview people and let them shine. I can't wait to get proposals for speaking engagements. I can't wait to earn a living, simply as AMAKAMEDIA. Mehn, the few recordings I've done (and still doing) have been so satisfying. I want more of that satisfaction.

We all have dreams. And we want to see those dreams come to reality. But we need to take certain steps of faith to make it happen.

So what steps are you currently taking? Do you see the picture too?

Sweetheart, pray with me:
Lord, give me the grace I need to stay committed to my future, and strengthen me to do all that is required of me to fulfill Your purpose and achieve my dreams. Amen.

May our dreams come true.

  4. Nice article sis. The power to see in Spirit is peculiar to faith. In its outer expression this power of sight is that which perceives the reality of the substance of Spirit. It starts with seeing the invisible. God bless you dear

  5. Amen and amen! Abraham’s faith was such that, even if he had sacrificed Isaac, he believed the Lord would keep His word and raise Isaac from the dead.......He believe.

  7. Yesterday, my pastor talked about the "lack of vision" He said pple perish because of lack of vision.... Vision is being able to see something that isn’t immediately visible so clearly that we believe it. i think God is speaking to me again about this. Thanks for sharing.
