SEX is a Form of Play (18+ Post)

He. . .llo! I feel like I've not been here in a year. How are my sweethearts doing? How was the weekend? I was with my friend (you-know-who) and we talked about sex! It's quite interesting to find an angle to write about on this kinda thing. :)

Sex is a Form of Play

What is sex? Sex is a form of play. And, might I say, it's the best form of play ever. Lol. Well, I believe so. I actually have an issue with those people (theologians) who make us think sex is an uptight thing. They turn sex into something totally functional and designed only for procreation. They even think talking about sex is unholy. They turn me off, and I'm sure they turn a lot of people off too. Mtchww!

No wonder so many people have problems with taking the church seriously. I mean, why would they? Those theologians don't help them believe Christianity can be free-ing. For crying out loud, "where the Spirit is, there is fullness of Joy and liberty."

When will the "spiritual" Bible-scholars understand the joy of having sex for enjoyment? Why can't they see how important playing is in sex and how important it is to keep it real? Is it that two people cannot come together and play together - to just have fun?

Funnily enough, it's not just the theologians who are responsible for taking the fun out of sex. Some modern scientists are to blame too. Those self-proclaimed enlightened psychologists and sociologists who write articles and appear on TV are not even helping matters. Mehn, it's so sad.

While the theologians make us think sex is mechanical, serious and uptight. The modern social people make us think it's cheap, available and dirty. This is so wrong!

Can you tell what happened here? :s

Sex is sacred. Yes, I agree. Sex is overrated. Yes, I agree. Sex should be fun. Yes, I totally agree and that's why I'm writing now. I'm not about to tell you how to make it fun. Nope. What do I even know? All I can say is to make sure your partner is having a good time. Sex should be exciting. Sex should be playful. Your partner should enjoy every second of it. I believe God will be pleased with that. :)

Aha, you're liking it, huh? Same here. BUT if you're not married, this article is not for you o. I believe the One who created sex made the rules, and the rules haven't changed yet. Sex before marriage is called fornication. By God's standard, fornication is sin. No argument, please!

Dear Married, I write for you and for my future self jhorr. You need some craziness in your marriage, and you certainly need to play. Play as much as you like and as often as possible.

Recently, it's been reported that sex is one of the major issues behind many divorces. And I'm like, "how?!" "why?!"

This might not be so appropriate for a Monday's post but it's nice to ease the tension here.

*whispers* I can't wait to play when I get married. It will be that rough. Shhh. . .

Sex is a beautiful thing. Let's not paint it ugly. Hope you catch my drift?  ;)

Have a fabulous week.

  3. Nice one. You only mentioned fornication. How about adultery?Adultery, on the other hand, always refers to the sexual sin of married people with someone other than their spouse. This is the major reason behind the divorce. Lol @can't wait to play. Go get married!

  4. Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled, for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterous. Heb 13:4

  9. Lovely write-up. You sound really intelligent and very innocent too. lol. I'm married. I enjoy sex for the fun of it with my husband. We already hsve two kids and that's enough for us. We "play" a lot! The issue is most people get bored with their partner sexually, even though they love them. They want new and better experience, that's why they commit adultery.

  23. Amakamedia, I would say that when a man chooses to not have sex with his wife, is what leads to divorce. and I have gone through this and AM a godly wife, the problem lies in the spouse. I have experienced exactly the same thing with my husband, and he said it was my fault. I have bent over backwards in my marriage to make it work and still nothing has changed. I don’t know what to say, your post is quite good and inspiring, but I am through. the choice he made is his, not mine, and I did not add to it. just wondering. I’m humble, but also human and my husbands clear rejection of me lies on him, not me. Yes, SEX IS A BIG ISSUE.

  24. Hello, I do not exactly know what to say because I am not married yet. If your spouse is withholding sex, this is wrong. It must be so heartbreaking for you. It is not God’s design for marriage. It blocks intimacy. And I am sorry you are going through this. I pray that you will find people to talk to who will understand, and who will be able to pray about it and steer you in the right direction. Please talk to a pastor.

Meanwhile, my mum has a little smth to say here: http://amakamedia.blogspot.com/2015/05/mums-marriage-secrets.html

Whatever happens, God's got your back!
