I usually put up my post at 5:59 AM (GMT, West Central Africa) So this post is about two hours late. I didn't really want to blog today. I was forming, "I need to take some time off." But I couldn't resist the topic on my daily devotional. It is talking to me!
It's Not Over Yet
Just last weekend, I celebrated my first blogiversary. I was feeling on top of the world. I was feeling fly. I thought I deserve to take some time off. I've really been through a lot already.
I needed to sort some things out. But this morning, God sent me a message through Pastor E. A. Adeboye of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) from the 'Open Heavens' daily devotional.
"Amaka, it is not over yet. Don't take any time off! In fact, the journey has not even started!"
What hit me was this paragraph:
"Many Christians live in the glory of their past achievements, and this has resulted in their undoing."
My God! I was hit ten times over. Nobody told me before I ran back to Blogger.
This speaks to anyone with a ministry, a purpose, a life-project, a dream, or anything being worked on. The journey must continue. It is a non-stop marathon. Do not back out. You should sustain the tempo and the determination with which you first started. You should not pull out of that which you had once believed. Don't relent.
It's more like hanging in there. You are not there yet. Keep pushing. Keep going. Do not stop. . . Do not stop until you get there. . . Do not stop!
I pray that God gives us the grace to finish well, in Jesus' name. Amen.

(PS: I may not blog everyday but there will always be a post on every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.
I don't have a timetable. However, this looks like what I've been doing for a while now. . .
Tuesdays - Creative expressions of POEMS n QUOTES, PHOTO TALK, or STYLES. Including rants about interesting happenings.
Wednesdays - Love and relationship matters like when I Met Jerry. Tales of a real love story.
Fridays - Vocal presentations as PODCASTS. This helps us stay put through the weekend. (fixed)
Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays are probably about news, events, and random stuff classified as UNCATEGORIZED.
NB: I'm very spontaneous. This' definitely not a regular time-table. The time table changes but my passion to inspire remains constant.)

We are co-dreamers. You should not stop working until you see your dreams become a reality. You are only a step closer.
BE WARNED! IT IS NOT OVER YET!
BE WARNED! IT IS NOT OVER YET!
Have a blessed week.
