When someone said; "Hmmm. . Amaka, that your blog sef. You will just be telling the whole world everything about you. Na wa o." I thought it being quite true. so I came about this. . . LOL.
LOL - Live Out Loud
What are you afraid of?
Are you scared that people will hate you?
Do you fear that you will be ridiculed?
Have you got dark shades around you?
Are you scared that people will hate you?
Do you fear that you will be ridiculed?
Have you got dark shades around you?
Sweetheart, step out of the dark and come on into the light. Come forth!
The scripture says you are the light of the world. A city set upon hill that cannot be hidden. (Matthew 5: 32) How do we shine when we hide ourselves?
Let people know what's going on in your life. Ever wondered why Twitter says "what's happening?" Facebook and BBM say "what's on your mind?" It is because they understand the need for expressing your emotions, your opinions, your views and in fact, your life.
OK, I understand some people are naturally reserved. But hey, being reserved does not mean shutting out yourself from the world. Give yourself away. Share bits of yourself to everyone you meet on this journey called life. The more you share, the more life you will have to share.
"No one who wants to become a public figure acts in secret. Since you are doing these things, show yourself to the world." - John 7:4 (NLT)
God wants us to pour our lives out to others. So I blog about my life because I have wholly dedicated it to God to give Him glory. He created me to express positivity, inspiration and love. He made me just for show-off; TO SHINE. No be my fault!
Well, you do not have to be a blogger to LOL. To Live Out Loud is to be alive in your own world. It means to be free and expressive. To live out loud is to stand out. It means to be true to yourself. Show everyone your true colour wherever you go - in the church, in the office, at a party, in the salon, and everywhere. Display your skills and express yourself in the best way you can.

Whether we are loved or hated will not matter to us when our hearts are pure. Keep loving God and keep living the life. Let those who want to hate you keep hating you. The most important thing is for your life to reflect God's glory. Be bold and LOL!
And yes, Happy New Month!
Welcome to the coolest month of the year!
God's just about to blow your mind. Only believe. For your set time has come. Amen.

ReplyDeleteAnd hah! The deal about sharing our lives. That's my own ministry sef. I have realized that God wants me to even share the good and the ugly, all to show His glory and perfection in Him
I struggled with it at first but we are light and we should shine.
I was spoken to by Matt 5:48(the msg version) and I shared it on the about page on my blog.
