It's 8:45 PM. I still couldn't get through to Jerry. This might probably be the first day he's never called since the day we met. But I hope not.
Event Wear
I had completed all the items I had on my to-do list. It wasn't a very bad day. But Jerry could have made it much better if he had called. He didn't. Perhaps not yet.
As I lay on the bed alone with my pillows, I thought about Jerry. I thought about the happy moments we shared. I thought about the way he makes me blush. I thought about the day we. . .
. . .That day we were at an eatery. It wasn't the same eatery where we had our first kiss. We had a good time there anyway. While we were talking, I showed him a picture on my phone which I had thought he'd like. Alas, he didn't hide his feelings. He hated the dress.
"Why will you expose your boobs like this na? It is called private part. A private part should not be seen in public."
"Erm. . .but it's not exactly exposed o. Besides, it was a bridal dress. And it is very expensive."
"So? It is expensive. And so? How much is worth your dignity as a woman? Don't wear this dress again biko."
"Ah! Me I like it and I. . . "
He cuts in. "Baby, you should represent purity in your fashion. I need you to. . ."

I dozed off.
Few minutes later, my phone started ringing. At first, I heard it in my sleep until it sounded loud enough to wake me up. Unfortunately, the phone stopped ringing before I finally opened my eyes. So I missed the call.
"Oh my God! It's Magic!" I gasped.
I found 9 Missed calls and 3 text messages. They were all from Jerry. He's been calling since 9:12 PM.

I read the first and second SMS'. He said he was sorry. Then the third. . .
Wait a minute! He didn't just address me by my first name, but he also spelt it wrongly. "What?!"
. . .to be continued next week. >>>
