Happy new week, sweethearts! New things are just springing forth here and there. Can you see them? :)
New Character
It's a new week. We all need to get fired up to start the week. And God's word is the best source of inspiration for empowerment, guidance for help and motivation for improvement. We can't have it any other way.
Like I said last week, it is the time to experience newness. Becoming like Jesus requires change. We must remove old habits and develop new ones. We must remove the old systems and replace them with new ones. To experience newness is to increase our capacity to carry God's glory: by improving on our faith, love, repentance, Bible study, prayer, character and patience.
I think it's nice for us to take it character by character, step by step, one day at a time. (You can do a Heart Check here)
May God help us become more like Him in Jesus' name. Amen.
Now, is it possible for your character to change? Yes. It is possible when you identify negative traits and rid yourself of them.
Most achievements in life require about 10% ability and 90% determination, hard work and grace. But in spiritual matters, changing is 100% determined by our choice. God has provided everything we need. The decision is ours.
One of my favourite verses, Proverbs 4:23 says, "Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it are the issues of life." The way you act is determined by your attitudes and intentions. People and circumstances may influence you, but you do not have to give in. You do what you decide to do.
Character is what you do instinctively and consistently.

God always see what we do. Our character is what we do in the dark, even if nobody sees us. God sees our thoughts, words and actions.
Your character is who you are gan-gan.
Your character is who you are gan-gan.
The Bible even says, in Galatians 5:22-23, that a person with good character will instinctively do what is positive, inspiring and loving, what brings joy and peace to others, what reflects patience, what is kind and merciful, and what bears the marks of discipline and self-control.
And that is why we are on this journey together. We are striving to live a life of positivity, inspiration and love. We are striving to please God as we walk to fulfil His purpose for our lives.
First things first, let's be real. We know deep down within our heart when something feels right and when it feels wrong. Yes, we usually know.
But sometimes, we try to justify our behaviours when they are contrary to our true character. We even go ahead to develop a tolerance for that behaviour.
It's high time we kept a clear conscience.
Let us set a good example for others to follow and live by godly principles everyday.
So sweetie, ask yourself; what do I do that I know deep within me is wrong? That's the area to experience this newness I'm talking about.
Stay inspired.
Have yourself a great week!
