Workers' Day 2016
~ Where is My Phone? ~
Today is Tuesday, right? I think so. These days I hardly know what time or day it is. I feel like I'm living in a cage, or some other planet yet to be discovered. I feel lost. I feel like I'm not part of the world. I feel like . . . phew!
It happened on Monday, May 1, 2016, the day mapped out as Workers' Day. So it was apparently a public holiday. I was home all day - I slept, I ate, I chatted, I read, I slept, I ate (in that particular order). Let's say it started out beautifully because indeed it was.
I almost forgot to say I tweeted. Oh yes, I did! What's a public holiday without Twitter? Lol.
Until evening . . .
I went out in the evening. Actually, I went to church.
On my way back from church, it happened . . .
I don't want to admit that I was careless. I also don't want to admit that I saw the signs. You know that feeling you get when you know that something was about to happen but you don't know what. Huh? Exactly!
I was walking to the junction with a bestie. We were gisting, laughing and having fun all the way. We even stopped by to buy fresh pineapples. Lol. (Lemme fake a laugh here. It's necessary).
"My phone! Where's my phone?!"
I realized my phone was no longer in the book I was holding. I flashed back to the last time I tapped on it . . . till now. I'm still asking, "Where is my phone?"
What am I trying to say? The point is my Android phone; the one I prayed and talked about here and here is missing. "She" is gone. *tears*
This is the memory I have of workers' day 2016.
