Let Your Personal Style Never Stop Evolving

Last Sunday of the year. We made it!!! Oh, wow!!! We have practically come to the end of the year. But, we have not come to the end of our style journey. We must keep evolving. Okay?

Now I sound like a teacher. :D

Keep Evolving In Style

If you've taken out time to discover your style statement, congratulations! But, you don't have to be static. You must learn to adapt to changing needs.

You guys know I embraced the 9-5 life this year after a few "I am an entrepreneur" failures. Yeah? Lol . So I was practically getting dressed E V E R Y D A Y, and I have seen my style evolve and grow over the course of one year. I reckon this would continue to happen and I'm looking forward to what 2018 fashion would be like on the blog.

2017 So Far . . .

Hi sweets. I pray your heart be ever filled with love, joy and peace. Miss you!

I’ve been thinking of the best way to sum up 2017 so far because I’m optimistic that we still have some days ahead of us, and as we know, "a day is like a thousand years with God." If you follow me on any of the social media sites you probably have an idea of my current mood: JOY. God has been so good!

Boxing Day 2017

When a week, or a month, or a year is over, do you ever wonder, "Wow, what did I achieve?" "Where did time go?" Been there. Done that.

The Cleansing Tears

I woke up crying – sentimental tears welled up with a lovely piece of music.

Christmas Tears

I cry a lot. It's no longer news that my eyes are teary. Little things make me cry.

And I believe within each of us are reservoirs brimful with tears.

Tears of joy and gratitude. Sentimental tears that well up when our hearts are touched – an inexplicable tears that flow without control.

Tears of frustration and anger. Tears of disappointment and hurt. Then the sobering choking tears of grief.

Ankara Skirt I've Been Wearing For Ten Years

Happy Style Sunday, sweeties! This is not the time to be sad and wondering what's left of the year, but to rejoice that Jesus has given us His peace for our troubled times (John 14:27.) No matter the situation, we are not going to let anything steal our joy and peace. Yeah? Yeah!

If you ever catch yourself feeling a little down, take a trip back in time so you can re-discover happy memories that perhaps you’d forgotten. That's what I do!

Style Is Timeless

I have always been a Memory Keeper. I record real stories through pictures and words and I LOVE it! I love it so much that it has become a part of my job.

Some of my most cherished moments are more about how I feel in a season or what I wore to a spectacular event or what words were spoken at a particular time. Emotional memories are the deepest for me.

8 Practical Ways To Be Good At Your Job

Happy Career–Wednesday! Whether you are employed or you own your business, learn to do your job and do it well. Whether it's menial and tedious, or tough and high-paying, learn how to do the job, regardless of how difficult you think it might be.

How To Be Good At Your Job

1. KEEP LEARNING
  • Treat your job as important and do it to the very best of your ability. Don't stand still but learn all the time, stay ahead of your industry and new developments. Put in extra hours if you must but don't be seen to be too hardworking – a laid-back approach gains you more respect.

STYLE: Bring More Happiness With Your Skirts

Happy Style–Sunday! I'm always up for enjoying new and creative ways of dressing up . . . by experimenting with the clothes in my wardrobe.

Still having fun with wild layering techniques.

Layering Skirt On Skirt

Expressing yourself and having fun through clothes is what I’m all about – but the most important part of everything is letting your personality shine through. You bring your taste, interests, desires, inspirations, aspirations and history – bundle a couple (or all) of them together – and let it shine in the way you dress.

DIARY: When November Brings New Memories

If someone asked you what was so special about November, what would you say? I think it can be so hard to remember specific days and events when every day goes by in a flash, right?

I decided to keep track of the month of November with a few sentences and some pictures.

Memories From November 2017
~November To Remember~

1/11 - My phone mistakenly falls off from a three-storey building while trying to place it on a surface after self-timing it to take a shot. . . Two things that blew my mind is that NOTHING happened to my phone and that it went ahead to snap me before hitting the floor. "November looks good already" I thought.

How To Experience Peace In Your Life Every Day

Father, You have promised that we can experience the kind of peace that passes all understanding. That's Your kind of peace, Lord. And it's the kind we crave.

Peace In Your Heart

It almost feels like we have to fight for our peace every day. It is becoming harder to find daily peace; not easier.

Our peace is so easily stolen. It takes just a simple glance on social media or a mounting to-do list for uncertainty and restlessness to rise up and overwhelm our hearts with anxiety. A long look at the success and joys of those around you can lure your heart into a never-ending longing for the possessions, personality and positions that we don’t have. Even a quick encounter with a difficult person can quickly take your days of peace.

Ah, it is crucial now more than ever that we allow the peace of God to dwell in our hearts.

1.12.17

May Peace Fill Your Heart

Remember peace is a gift from God and we must learn to defend it relentlessly everyday. Bible tells us, “Put on the full armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the Devil” (Ephesians 6:11). There are so many events on a daily basis that will try and steal your peace. Stay guarded!

Rays Of Peace

I believe in the power of words. As a copywriter, I have learned to decree a creative word for each new month. I find that doing this helps me work productively and live consciously, as everything tends to manifest towards the declaration of the Word—from creating content to dressing up to living the moment. I have seen the Word become flesh.

RELATIONSHIP: How To Deal With Losing Your Best Friend Because Of Marriage

Hi People! Welcome to another Love-Wednesday! You are aware of my friendship heartbreak earlier this year, yeah? That's done. . . Gone. . .Over! I have stopped looking back, wishing for the things that cannot happen and have accepted reality. I bring you good tidings from the experience.

Dealing With The Loss Of A Best Friend To Someone Else

I brag about having more male friends and shared with you how to maintain the friendship with them here. I fret about having so many boyfriends and mentioned to you how none had proposed marriage to me yet here. I have also nagged about how some of them preferred to have me as a side chick. I probably haven't been doing a great job at selling myself as a wife material, or what do you think?

26.11.17

You Woke Up. You Have Clothes To Wear. Thank God.

Happy Style Sunday! In the spirit of gratitude, let us just thank God for all the clothes we have in our wardrobes. :)

Thankful For Clothes To Wear

Sing along with me:
Some have clothes but cannot wear
Some can wear but have no clothes
We have clothes and we can wear
Glory be to thee o Lord 🎵
It's a blessing to have enough clothes to wear. I wouldn't take this for granted.

How To Sell Yourself In 2 Minutes

It's Career-Wednesday! Imagine yourself in an elevator standing next to the biggest fish in your industry. Maybe it’s the chairman of your dream company, or a top class client you wish to have. And all you have is two minutes to make a strong impression about your strengths, your business or your company, what do you say?

Create An Elevator Pitch

This is the second time I would be attending an event where the speaker would select somebody and ask them to sell themselves in two minutes. See first time here

I got home, faced the mirror, and attempted to sell myself to myself. After about 30 minutes, I still wouldn't even buy myself.

STYLE: Go Wild With Layering

You might think of layering as a thing that happens with jackets, sweaters and suits . . . ever thought about layering with dresses or skirts? It's style Sunday. I have something to show you. :)

Layering

You know how it feels when you find out that there is actually a common name for all those i-just-did-it and oh-wow-it-worked things you've been doing for years. That's how I felt when I understood what "layering" means in fashion.

"Increase Your Value" — Mr. Rotimi Bankole

I hope you find this read worth while. From my experience relating with Clients, I have come to perceive how clients think and how we as a creative/media agency can have more value in return.

5 Ways To Increase Our Value

1. Design Quality: We should be serving high quality design. How do your office look? As a practitioner, how do you look like? Do you smell nice. How about your work, your presentation, your write ups? Having a good design is just part of the puzzle. He cares for more . . .

2. Service Quality: A client doesn't know how or where your design, idea, office is etc To our Client, we are a service provider. In a restaurant, a bad service can ruin the whole meal. So, every interaction you have with client, your emails, phone-dash-calls, meetings, even the coffee is part of what he is paying you for. Make your service unforgettable, then you can charge more.

Pick One Goal And Follow Through

Happy New Week, sweethearts of my blogosphere! How are you doing? Missed me? I sure missed you. Do you get easily distracted? Do you do so many things at the same time. Same here. But if we look closely, we are actually slowing down our progress. Let's pick one thing, focus on it, and see to its completion.

Follow Through

Many of us believe that multitasking is the only way to successfully stay on track with our busy schedules, so we embrace this approach at work. But in its core, the only thing that happens when we are multitasking is that we switch our focus from one task to another. This can be time-consuming and can lead to making more mistakes.

Today's inspiration is a simple one:

Pick one primary goal for the week, and measure your success on that basis.

Note To Self: The Year Is Not Over Yet

Just like not every day of our life is the best day ever, so is not every year the best one we have ever had. I haven’t exactly come to a conclusion out of the fact that 2017 hasn’t really been my favourite year yet. 2017 hasn’t been awful or terrible either, but it has definitely been a year of doubts and uncertainty and a year where I have questioned my place and call more often than usual. And while that has lead to some good and memorable lessons, I still feel I could have done without some of them.

2017 isn’t going to last forever and 2018 is hopefully going to bring a much needed breeze of clarity. But since the best way to combat a bad day is to just get up in the morning and to make the most out of every moment, I guess that the best antidote to a not so ideal year is to not give up and to keep going instead - and to realize that the year is not yet over.

"No one whose hope is in you will ever be put to shame. . . Guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Saviour, and my hope is in you all day long. . . May integrity and uprightness protect me, because my hope is in you."
-Psalm 25:3, 5, 21

Hope is the thing that says "I don’t know how I’m going to get through this, I don’t know what’s going to happen, but I know the God I serve. I know He loves me, I know He has the power, and He’s never failed me in the past."

God is faithful. He will carry you through. He’s going to carry you through. Keep hope alive. Have faith. Take one more step and persevere. You are at the verge of a breakthrough. Do not quit.

What I Wore: Ankara Pleated Skirt

Happy Style-Sunday! 90% of the time I enjoy showing you how to rock Ankara fabric in various ways. Here is another one. :)

Pleated Ankara Skirt

The mixture of colours and pattern on this Ankara fabric has me salivating. First of all, let me gist you about how I got this fabric:

I like to think my mum is one of the best teachers in the world. I'm not kidding. Sometimes I get jealous with the love being poured on her by her students (both from school and from church). Shey I wee not come and go and become a teacher like this? 😷 The show of love serves as an inspiration to be the best and give the best in whatever you've been called to do. One way or the other, you will always be blessed for being a blessing to others.

DIARY: The Healing Process Is A Gift Only You Can Give Yourself

Today I recognize my human nature tendencies more easily. It's not that the hurt places and dark parts of me has disappeared. I have just become a healed, whole person with which to embrace them. I even have a name for it now.

Dear Diary
October 2017
~Wholetober~

As I reflect on my life - the way I loved and was loved before I started on my journey to wholeness, I'm amazed I got to this point in one piece (or, should I say peace?). The person I used to be seems like a very bad dream. God intervened many times to keep me from self-destruction, I'm convinced.

There is no point sugarcoating it. Healing is a process of destruction. It is messy and painful, but oh, so worth it.

29.10.17

STYLE: Go Neutral

In today's post, I was trying to do a bit of minimalism. How do you get maximum effect from just one element? Well, I tried.

Go Neutral

I hardly ever go on a complete minimalistic look as it is. I would normally just add elements of minimalism to my outfits and then add a dash of colour, prints, texture or whatever I fancy at the time. But with this outfit, I only wanted the beauty of the jewellery to shine through in all its colour, shape and texture.

Dear Diary, What Do I Want?

Imagine that as you woke up this morning, a cheque was sent to your house with no amount. You just need to fill the amount. What would you write?

Blank Cheque

Earlier this morning I prayed in tongues. Not a word was uttered in any of the languages that I understand.

I wanted to pray in English, but I didn't know what to ask God. Honestly, I wish I knew.

Do You Know How Much Your Dreams Would Cost You?

Sometimes Jesus can beat around the bush, and at other times He hits you deep in your heart with a 2 x4 sword through His parables. I've been a bit uncomfortable lately . . .

Count The Cost

Today's message is to encourage you to keep to your assignments and dreams and FINISH what you started despite oppositions, fears and barriers.

Key word here is: FINISH

School Uniform Inspired Outfit

Hi sweeties. Enjoying your Sunday? Today's style post reminds me of my school uniforms, amazing where the inspiration comes from in fashion.

Dressed For School

I rocked this outfit to work on a Monday in September. I realized I only posted it on Instagram and not on the blog. Well, I had thought it wasn't necessary but then again, an outfit post becomes a go-to when you absolutely want to stick to your blog schedule and not leave the day blank.

It's Style-Sunday. Style we must blog and post we must have. Isn't that what they call being consistent!?

5 Quotes On Wholeness That Go Deep

As human beings we have many parts to us. The “good,” the “bad,” the “beautiful,” and the “ugly.” None of these parts are good, bad, beautiful, or ugly. They just are. Let's not leave out any part of ourselves. Let's be whole.

Wholeness Quotes

1.

“Of all the needs (there are none imaginary) a lonely child has, the one that must be satisfied, if there is going to be hope and a hope of wholeness, is the unshaken need for an unshakable God.”
- Maya Angelou

Stop Chasing After Your Dreams

It's a New Week. No long story. Here is a reminder for us to focus on the most important thing.

What's Your Chase?

You've been told to follow your dreams. Yeah? But what do you do when what you decide to chase starts to run away.

Do you stop running? Or, do you continue to run?

What You Should Know Before Buying Your Next Fashion Item

Happy Sunday, sweethearts of my e-world! I hope you are in good shape? :)

Someone admired the outfit I was wearing and asked me where I usually shop. I didn't want to come and be forming tush, So I said "I don't exactly shop, I do select and pay" and I was quite dramatic in the select and pay part. Lol. No shame. Smh.

I think it's high time I shared some of my shopping tips. Happy Style-Sunday!

Before Buying A Fashion Item

Buy for your body: Among all things to know when shopping, don't ever buy clothes for your future body. Don't! Many of us buy clothes for a future-self dreaming about losing some few kilograms, yet we have no idea how that piece will really fit when we are at that weight (if we even become that weight) and if they will even flatter us. So, why take the risk?

Achieve More By Interpreting Your Client's Dream

It's Career-Wednesday! I've been dying to finish this article for over a month now. When the inspiration came, I didn't know how best to write it in words. It was so deep that I had to chill for days. Thank God it has finally come through.

Whether you have your own business or you have a boss you work for, you've got customers/clients to please. Meeting the needs of your client is a crucial part of growing a successful business or career.

This' a long post but I pray that you find inspiration. :)

Reading Your Client’s Mind

I am currently wearing the shoes of both an employee and an entrepreneur. There are really no perils wearing both shoes if you are being paid and constantly using not less than 70% of your inspired skills. The only exhausting bit can be being able to read the mind of the client and meeting crazy deadlines.

Blessedly, in both shoes, I do the Media thing.

Take Charge

Happy New Week! Here is a quick one to inspire you.

Take Charge

Loving this picture.
Source: Tahiti's Avatar

I woke up with this phrase, or should I call it a command whispering in my heart, 'Take Charge!' 'Take Charge!'

We are born leaders. By design, we are rulers. It's amazing that God spoke to Himself with us in mind on the sixth day of creation!

Think about this . . .during day 6 of creation—before He scooped up dirt, forming it into man and before He put Adam to sleep, took his rib and fashioned woman—God gave us dominion. By birthright—simply because we are His, He gave us the authority to rule.

The Message Bible pus it this way,
“God spoke: “Let Us make human beings in Our image, make them reflecting our nature so they can be responsible for the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, the cattle, and yes, Earth itself, and every animal that moves on the face of the Earth.” God created human beings; He created them godlike, reflecting God’s nature. He created them male and female. God blessed them: “Prosper! Reproduce! Fill Earth! Take Charge!”
I love it!

Merriem-Webster dictionary defines it this way,
to take charge is to accept responsibility for something and have control over it.
Yeses!

God is in control but He wants you to take charge.

He wants you to come up to maturity so you can tame circumstances and exercise dominion over satan, sickness, sin, failure, poverty, and all the works of darkness. He wants you to take charge of your day, your week, your life and situations through His Word; that’s His will and grace for your life.

So sweetie, it's time to rise up, grow up, and take charge!

God wants a TAKE CHARGE attitude from you.

What are you going to take charge of this week?

Got to run, catch you soon!
Stay on fire!
Stay inspired!

My First Jumpsuit Ever

Happy Style-Sunday sweeties! I have a secret that I’m a bit shy to share. You ready . . . ? Okay. This is the first jumpsuit that I have ever worn. Phew, that felt good to get off my chest. Lol.

My First Jumpsuit Ever

I knew I wanted to wear something other than the typical denim skirt and top that I was known to wear for an event tagged "sporty". I stumbled on a nice thrift store (a.k.a okrika, a.k.a bend-down-select) to pick some items. Then I picked something that was totally different from what I had in mind (if I had any at all).

A jumpsuit.

Dear Diary, No Picture To Show For It

Always remember your life is to showcase the glory and beauty of God.

No Pictures, More Glorious

That Sunday, in March, I was asked to speak on a subject related to business. I was standing in front of over 800 people at the church service. The excitement of the congregation was contagious. Being a speaker where people laugh, clap and respond to your questions feels amazing. We had fun. But, I have no picture to show for it.

The Bleeding Woman

Again I read about the woman with the issue of blood. This woman’s story pierces my heart in the way that it brings me to tears . . . to Jesus.

"If I can just touch the hem of his garment, I will be healed". That's what she told herself. Such a daring adventure.

The Bleeding Has To Stop

If you've been reading my blog, you're aware about the breakup I had with an ex-friend who attends my church. I got in touch with him again to carry out an official assignment . . . Then, the hurt, the pain, the ache all came back.

"I thought I had moved on." I cried.

Happy WHOLEtober!

Hi sweetheart. How have you been? I fell sick, went to the hospital and was discharged at 8PM yesterday. God's mercy didn't let me step into October while at the hospital. Hallelujah!

Be Whole Again

It's Sunday. It's October - the first day of the month. It's Nigeria's 57th Independence Day celebration. So much to be thankful for.

What are you specially thankful for today?

I'm specially thankful that I am not on the hospital bed right now.

DIARY: "You Are As Beautiful As A Butterfly"

A reflection on being likened to a butterfly and the grace that entails.

As A Butterfly

Me: *closes eyes to pray with tears in her eyes*

God: I have come on the wings of the wind to meet with you, My heart is aching, longing, desiring. My very being yearns to commune. O, how I have missed you.

Me: Lord . . .

God: You are no longer held captive in a cocoon, no longer hidden. It is time to fly with freedom under the protection of My mighty wings as you rise to see My face, as it flows with goodness and glory.

Me: I don't know why he . . .

God: Awakening is here. Love is awakened, My beloved, swinging wide the doors of opportunity, favour, mercy, glory, and honour. Embrace it.

Just Show Up

Hi, sweethearts of my blogosphere. How was your weekend? Mine was exhausting. Working in a team can be interesting yet annoying. With sleepy eyes I sat to ponder at how committed some of us were while some of us weren't even making any effort.

Sometimes just showing up at an event, for an activity, in a meeting is a step of faith. You know?

Exercise Faith By Actions

There is a difference between simply living with the knowledge that you are a Christian and actively showing up for God. The same way, there is a difference between simply having the title of leadership and actively performing the role.

It's amazing how God uses the minutest things to make big impressions. Sometimes when I painfully can't figure out why things go the opposite direction, or people act in some very weird ways, I see God teaching me something profound.

Reflecting On My 6th Twitterversary

Six years ago today, I signed up for this thing called Twitter, even though I had no clue what it was. I created an account, sent my first tweet "I don't know what ayam doing here oo", and ran away.

Few tweets later, my life changed.

Happy 6th Twitterversary To Me!

Few years back the only thing I knew about Twitter was the absurd notion that it was only created for celebrities — the music icons, movie stars, political leaders, etc — to keep their fans abreast of what was happening. Absurd precisely because I was just a fresh university graduate when I signed up. It didn't seem like I was anything near being a celebrity or something.

Are You Open To Love?

It's Love-Wednesday! This one is for the singles. :)

Make Your Heart Ready

Source: G+

This is the time to work on your interaction with people around you and make sure your connections are sound. If you have issues with anyone, please deal with them before someone comes along. You don't want a barrier in that area.

God is the only perfect Father. Humans are guaranteed to disappoint. We've all been hurt, but we can still choose to love.

DIARY: I Want To Be In That Number

Is Jesus coming back soon? I think so!

Maybe yes! maybe no? But we should live with this thought fresh in our minds as if He was.

When The Saints Go Marching In

Oh when the Saints go marching in
When the Saints go marching in
O Lord, I want to be in that number
When the Saints go marching in

As I sing, “I want to be in that number,” I really mean it. Even when many are waxing cold, I want to be even hotter. I want to be among those who stay on fire for God. I want to be among those who stand the test of time. I want to be among the soldiers in the fight of faith. But the ‘number’ thing kind of mean not everyone will be marching into the Promised Land. ‘Number’ could imply a limit. I'm imagining a bouncer at the door with an official guest list.

How To Know A Fool (10 Things They Do)

Hi sweets. How was your weekend? Sure you had more awesome moments than awkward. Huh?

One time I sat down and asked myself "Come, Amaka, are you not just being foolish here?" It was a your-mumu-don-do moment for me. I had to re-adjust and re-align my heart to the most important thing.

Looking back, I think it was God practically taking me through a study on the foolishness of men. Let’s explore the Bible to help us define who a fool really is . . .

Who A Fool Is

We've heard it over and over and over again that the Bible is the greatest book in the world. It is the textbook of all textbooks, the dictionary of all dictionaries and the concordance of all concordances. It is great like that.

The Word of God is the basis and ultimate authority for our definitions and conclusions.

The Bible defines A Fool in several verses, this is but one of the reasons why the study of “who a fool is” is important.

I Wear My Brother's Shirt (Why You Should Too)

Happy Style Sunday! There is something uniquely appealing about wearing your brother's shirts or the shirts belonging to any man in your life.

Ladies, can you relate? Oops. Sorry guys.

Why Men's Shirts Are The Cutest

I am blessed with two tall, cute younger brothers who are masculine in every area, their shirts are oversized for me. And I love to wear them. They are simply comfy.

Sometimes the laziness of wanting an easy going look, getting a piece I can just throw on, or finding something quite comfortable yet chic lures me to sneak into my brothers' room . .  to find a shirt.

Why I Don't Blog Everyday

"You are not a serious blogger if you don't blog everyday". "You can't be successful as a blogger if you don't blog everyday."

And those words made me bit my lip.

Not Blogging Everyday Works For Me

A digital expert and news blogger, who happens to be my boss highlighted on the fact that big blogs rank well on search engines because they tend to post more frequently with fresh content. He said the more posts you publish per day, the higher your chance of achieving higher traffic rank.

I've heard that before. But hearing it again at this time got to me.

DIARY: I Come To The End Of Myself

Everything we are and everything we have is IN God. Let's keep that in mind so that we do not exalt ourselves over God and other people, and to remain conscious of the fact that everything we have was given to us by God.

Less Of Me, More Of Jesus

Today I come to the end of myself.

You know that moment? The moment when you’re persuaded that the more you insist on selling what you know or on your rights, the more frustrated you will be. The moment when you realize that the more you set goals and pursuits for yourself, the further you will be from Christ. The moment when you finally realize there's got to be more of Jesus and less of you.

11.9.17

Less Is More When God Is Involved

It's a New Week. I believe someone needs this encouragement as much as I do. Let's not deprive ourselves of joy in the “little” we have, we see and we know.

Less Is More

This article was inspired by a Youth and Singles programme which took place in my local church last Friday.

I am privileged to be an executive member of the church youth group. We started a monthly fellowship with great passion and expectations. But somewhere along the line, many of us grew weary due to certain things we couldn't control.

More Than A Yellow Ankara Dress

Yellow is one my favourite colours. It's pretty difficult to argue that yellow is particularly peaceful or neutral, but for me it is vibrant, joyful; the colour of positivity and creativity.

Paint The World Yellow

As I always say, the clothes you wear are talking even when you are not. Every time you select a colour to wear you are making a statement of how you are feeling and how you want others to interact with you. So, it is recommended that you ensure your wardrobe is full of every colour for your every mood.

Hiya! It's Love-Wednesday! Let's talk about friendship today. Shall we?

Friends are essentials to have. It’s not about how many friends you have, it’s about having friends who bring positivity and inspiration into your life. When it comes to friendships, it about quality, not quantity.

Friends You Need In Your Life

We all need great friends and we all deserve to have people in our lives who  bring out the very best in us.

Many of us have had seasons in our lives where we come across toxic friends who do nothing but drain us, exhaust us, suck the energy out of us and make our lives miserable. These types of friends are the worst, and we are all better off when we cut them out.

There goes that word again, sexy. Permit me this month. Lol.

Have you ever found the perfect pair of shoes, bought them, brought them home, put them in your wardrobe, and never worn them? Scrap that. Ever heard of this saying, "you can't understand a person until you have walked a mile in their shoes", what's your take on it?

Super Eagles Hit Cameroon Hard In The FIFA World Cup Qualifier Match

I don't know when next I'd be this proud to watch the Super Eagles play again. So lemme just capture this feeling of joy now for the record.

Besides, it's a public holiday!

Super Eagles On Fire Today

What better way to start the month as well as to enjoy the holiday than to watch your country play impressively against an "experienced" Cameroon.

Issa Sexy September

Don't be like "eww! She's so carnal!". Sexy is a spiritual word. Get over it. Lol. Yes, I am using the S-word this month. The Bible is filled with sex and romance. Go read Songs of Solomon before you argue.

God did not call us to be impure, but to live a holy life tho. (1 Thessalonians 4:7)

Happy Sexy September

As I navigate my journey with God, He gives me a Word for each year, each month, each week, each day. Even though sometimes I miss it, the Word never returns void.

RELATIONSHIP: What Do You Do When Someone Lies To You?

I’d just discovered a friend lied to me. It was about something senseless, which only made it worse. As days go by, I wrestled through troubling thoughts. Why would he lie about THAT? Were we ever really friends?

It's Love-Wednesday! Let's talk.

When Your Friend Lied

I tend to totally trust people from the first minute I meet them, meaning that people can only lose my trust. This doesn't mean that anybody I get to know immediately becomes my friend; it simply means that I have no prejudice towards them about the possibility of being friends with them.

So, this article is going to cover both friends, bae's and acquaintances. What we do when we discover that people we trust lied to us?
