STYLE: Sometimes The Colour Chooses You

It was never a plan to blog about green again (after last week), I just couldn't help but notice how green pieces have been spontenously showing up in my wardrobe lately. No I mean, I never intended to wear this particular shade for days in a row. I'm shock-ed!

Yeah, it's Sunday. Let's freestyle ;)

Green Is Calling

The last time you were asked what your most favourite colour was, what did you say? Is it still the same as today, now?

Or, are you one of us who don't know our best colours? It's hard to choose, I know right? Me too.

When we can't choose a best colour, the best colour would probably have to choose us.

I personally believe that colours are way underrated when it comes to fashion and style. Whether you know it or not, everyone has a best colour. It's often revealed during your wardrobe sanitation. More often than not your best colour palette is made up of the colours you are already drawn to and helps explain why you're always having the same coloured clothing.

So I have come to the realisation that green has been an all-seasonal colour for me. I see how one can totally glow with every shade of green. And to think that it had been calling me so many times here and there, there and here, here and everywhere, I guess it's time to answer with a resounding YES, MY BEST COLOUR IS GREEN.

I can almost these words;
 "You didn't choose me, I chose you"

Lol. Can you remember Jesus said this to his disciples back in the days? Do you believe he is saying it to us in this season, today? Hmmm . . .

Discover your best colour and stick to the shades that best suit you.

No matter how trendy a colours appears to you, there are some shades that are always going to look good on you, and some that aren't. No colour looks good on everyone, and it's just a fact. This has to do with your skin tone, or eye colour, and hair combined to give you a look.

I for one know purple isn't fab on me. I don't do so much with it without pairing with complementary colours.

When you wear colours that complement your skin tone instead of clashing with it, you're tuning in to your body and natural complexion, which will make you look and feel your best.

When you are chosen, you really don't have a choice.

"You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit - fruit that will remain. Then the Father will give you whatever you ask in my name." (John 15:16)

Your turn, which colour has been calling you lately?

P.s Remember when I told you HERE that I'd love to get a white skirt, huh? Yes, I eventually did. It's not exactly white tho, but it passes. :)
