I Live For Jesus
I feel the world pulling you away from your beliefs, and there are more distractions and temptations than ever before. But there’s hope if you put Jesus at the center of your life. And live for him.
You know I had tried to live for Jesus in my own strength, right? But it was exhausting and discouraging. Until I began relying on the Holy Spirit, Jesus’ life became free to flow through me. Now, I have what my heart longed for most — an intimate relationship with God.
I find that the nearer I draw close to God and come to know Him more, the greater His desires naturally become mine. Obedience to His will becomes easier. His instructions become a priority.
A number of people are rolling their eyes at me for starting a YouTube channel with Kachi, sharing the journey of our marriage. They have no idea the level of faith and obedience it takes to pull that up. But I am confident in the one who called us.
RELATED POST: I Come To The End Of Me
Nothing happens to me without His permission. I am so sure about this. Even the band of armed robbers who tried to attack our area last night is not enough to shake off this belief.
Last night, I slept like a baby and heard nothing in my sleep until the next-door neighbour called me on the phone to stay alert. "You are sleeping? Are you not hearing the noise? Stay awake oh." That was at 12:16AM.
We heard gunshots and loud noises outside. I was forced to stay awake. My husband. My neighbours. Everyone stayed awake. All night until 3:00AM
In writing this post, I wanted to tell you this;
Stay awake. Stay alert. The Lord will come as a thief at night.
I also wanted to tell you this:
The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: Jesus came that we might have life, and that we might have it more abundantly.
But, I couldn't decide on which perspective to share from — whether to see the thief as the Lord or to see the thief as the devil.

Then it dawned on me that no matter whichever way the thief appears to be, I would not be afraid if ONE THING is constant.
I am living for Jesus.
Living for Jesus means giving myself away to prayer and evangelism and desiring God’s will above all else.
Living for Jesus means expressing my gifts to the glory and honour of His name.
Living for Jesus means taking each moment I live as an opportunity to shine His light in this dark world.
Kachi and I sang a song together about giving our devotion to God, I believe it will bless you. Watch the video below:
This is the time of life when Jesus becomes your ONLY anchor. Everything else will eventually fade out. All you have is your relationship with God; which is, in fact, the reason Jesus died and resurrected. Isn't that why we celebrate Easter?
For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain. — Phillipians 1:21
Stay inspired.
Stay positive.
Stay safe.
How did you celebrate Easter? Or, didn't you? Please leave a comment in the box below. Thanks.
