DIARY: How Valentine's Day Was Spent

February 14, like every other day, was divided into morning, afternoon and night. But everyday is different - my thoughts, feelings, wisdom and lessons - with its own Heart Rays.

Valentine's Day 2016

Mehn, thank God Val's Day was on Sunday. I woke up quite earlier than usual, with God's love overflowing in my heart.

I hope to replay my day into few words and pictures without boring you. Amen. Lol.

Morning: Church

After praying, the struggle for what to wear to church began. For that day, my struggle was based on three major reasons;
  • I really wanted to wear what will cover my long neck
  • I wanted to wear something that will be suitable with a laptop bag
  • I wanted to wear a touch of red just because . . . it's Valentine.

So after turning my wardrobe upside down. I settled for this look . . .

It was the same skirt I wore here. A pleated skirt comes in handy anytime of the day. I love it.

"Media-ing" is one of the things I love to do for God. Doing it on Val's day made it more fun. Yeah.

Oh, service was super awesome. My pastor preached on the topic; Your Testimony Cometh. I believed the message and received my testimonies. I am now waiting for the manifestation. (Erm . . . I prayed for you too).

The youths met after service to discuss about upcoming programmes.

That's me saying "let's do all we can to make it work!"
Service was over. Meeting was over. Looking for trouble was over. What else could I possibly be doing in church? Nothing. It was time to go home.

You will know a tech/media crew when you see them. Lol. We took pictures on our way home.  L-R Padi, Folake, Sammy, me, Dan, Johnero

I got home at 2:40 PM.

Afternoon: Sleep

My room was still scattered and my clothes were all over the place when I got home. I was hoping an angel would come down from heaven to arrange my room. Lol. Well, I guess God sent them to do bigger things on my behalf. :)

(Fast forward)

I decided to pray. As I was praying, I fell asleep. Jeez. Have you ever fallen asleep while praying? Hehehe . . .

The sleep was too sweet!

I woke up at 6:08 PM. "O-M-G! House fellowship!" I screamed and jumped out of the bed. I was already late. House fellowship starts at 6:00 PM.

Night: Fellowship

I washed my face and hurried out of the house without checking the mirror. House fellowship starts at 6:00 PM and ends at 7:00 PM.

On my way home after fellowship. I looked so terrible scattered horrible hungry and sleepy. Smh.

When I got back home. I read my emails and replied some. I chatted with friends and ignored some. I visited some blogs and tweeted a little. And then, I fellowshipped with my beloved online family - TWTW

So that was how my St. Valentine's Day was spent o.

I actually planned it out a day before. And it went as planned. Is God not good? *grins*

Basically, falling in love with Jesus was the best thing I did. :) There were no cupcakes, bars of chocolate or any gift box whatsoever. But I got the best feeling ever - a deep sense of knowing that God loves me.

Your turn. How did you spend yours?
