6 Weird Ways To Relieve Stress
We all experience stress in different ways and at different times.
Stress can be one of the fastest things to eclipse the light in our heart and damper our creativity. Whether it’s a troubled relationship, financial issue or a stressful job, these situations tend to zap our emotional and mental energy hindering our creative flow. It's bad.
Youknowahmsayin'. Stress isn’t good for you, sweetie! That’s why I’m here to help you out with some weird ways to relieve stress. Oh yeah, super weird tips from your beautiful weird blogger. ;)

These tips will make you feel happy beyond the normal level and you’ll be less stressed in a bit. :)
1. Drink Orange juice
Don't laugh. I do this when I'm stressed. I just keep sipping and sipping and sipping. Before I know it, I am so excited and hyperactive. Not only is orange juice delicious and nutritious, but it can actually make you feel less anxious. Food and drink high in Vitamin C, such as orange juice, physiologically reduces stress by lowering levels of stress hormones, including cortisol. Two glasses will do the magic. (but I like to take 5 when I have the chance).
This is not an advert; when I can't afford orange juice, I drink Fayrouz. It's non-acoholic, yet it makes me high. I just can't explain how it does it. Wanna try?
2. Scream Into A Pillow
Ah, I love to screeeaaaam!!! Trust me, it works. If you feel like you're going to explode from stress or anger or both, grab a pillow and stuff your face into it and let out your loudest scream ever. It might make your throat a little sore, but you'll feel so much better afterwards. To avoid stories that touch, tell the person close to you to excuse you or inform them, "I'm about to scream. Can you handle it?".
Aha. If you can do this, then you are really weird. And everyone around you can testify. Amen?

3. Dance To Your Favourite Music
Blast your favourite songs, whether it's one by Cobhams or Korede Bello, just dance. Lock the door and let loose - dancing, even if you are not a good dancer, is OK. Dancing will give you energy and will put a smile on your face. Research says that listening to music releases the feel-good chemical dopamine into our brains and makes us happy.

4. Feed Your Eyes
When I feed my eyes on the beautiful wallpapers in my room, I transcend into a realm - realm of peace and calmness. I feel relaxed. Feeding your eyes on beautiful things can help you relieve stress. Beautiful things with inspiring content take your mind off whatever it is that is bothering you. Beautiful pictures with positive messages energize you and fire up your mood.

Sometimes I also go through the pictures on my phone. That brings me to ask; what kind of pictures do you have on your phone? Are they "filled with messages from Thee"?
5. Laugh Sillily
Stand in front of a mirror and make faces at yourself. And laugh. Making funny faces will help you laugh at yourself. Just be laughing and be going. It is a scientifically proven that the body cannot differentiate between real and fake laughter. LOOOOL. I'm literally laughing right now. LOOOOL.

You can also watch funny videos to make you laugh. Laughter is a natural stress reliever. Just laugh. But be careful before it turns to madness. Just saying.
6. Write Something
This doesn't sound like it will work, right? It does. What I write when I'm stressed is totally different from what I write when I'm relaxed. Maximize the moment of being stressed and create a masterpiece. Just pretend you are pouring out your stress into the paper and you will find yourself relaxing.

As a writer, I've always known that getting something down on paper feels great. I write my stress away! That was how I got to write this awesome poem, "Stressed Out Heart"
