What I Wore: Black On The Rescue Again

Lemme borrow a quote from Wednesday Addams: "I will stop wearing black when they invent a darker colour." Lol.

Black And Ankara

Black is elegant and chic.
Black is slimming and fitting.
Black is classic and daring.

Black looks good on all skin tones.
Black looks good with all hair colours.
Black looks as good on men as it does on women.
Black makes buying clothes easier.
Black makes getting dressed in the morning quicker.

Why would anyone not wear black?

I love b-l-a-c-k!!!

It may seem easy to dress in all black, but it can also be one-dimensional and boring. Here are a few tips to keep in mind:

Tip #1
Mix the fabrics and textures. Nothing looks dowdier than an all-black outfit that is all cotton. (I mixed satin with polyester)

Tip #2
Add interesting accessories. The statement piece of your outfit should be of bold and colourful jewelry. For me, Ankara accessories are the go-to set with any black on black outfit.

Other Black WIW Posts are here and there.
