Happy Sunday! It's not every time shoes, sometimes slippers too. Lol. Lemme show you an outfit I put together on one of those days I just go freely on the street like I owe nobody. :D
You Owe Nobody
Since this post, my definition of "street style" hasn't changed. It is still the normal outfit a normal person wears on a normal day. No paparazzi.
Being free is such a great experience.
A great burden lifted from my shoulders the day I realized that nobody owes me anything and I owe nobody. For so long as I’d thought there were things I was entitled to, I’d been wearing myself out emotionally — trying to collect them.
I hope you always remember that you owe nobody an explanation for your decisions.
The next time you are tempted to justify something or explain yourself, just remember that you can’t control what other people think. You can only control what you think and how you feel.
Give yourself the freedom to . . . Just. Be.
I'm talking too much. Lemme show you pictures jhorr! Painfully, I wasn't ready to pose when most of the shots were taken.
Wait. What is this man looking at? Lol. |
Be careful not to seek from people that which you have the ability to produce on your own. You owe nobody.
Let's call this a casual look with a sprinkle of positive vibes and rays of freedom. *winks*
OK. A little secret now. My youngest brother was the one behind the camera. Got you. No, that's not the secret!
The secret is it costs nothing to look beautiful and chic. My neckpiece was made out of an old rugged top. Yeah!
If you'd like to do this yourself, I showed how to make a simple one HERE. :)
Fashion should not be forced. Make it simple, personal and fun. At the end of the day, it's about how you style it — and styling, sweeties, is free.
