What I Wore: Old To Fab (Ankara Shoes)

Hello sweetie. I hope your weekend has been amazing? So like I promised last week, I want to show you how I once rocked these shoes.

On The Red Carpet
#FireOfLafta

I absolutely LOVE hosting events. And adding the glitz and glamour of the red carpet is one of the best things! I like all the vibes and energy that come with wearing a smile, asking questions and meeting people.

When I have an event, I always wake up (that's if I had a sleep at all) with a burst of energy, smile on my face, and pop out of bed early. It’s event day! Yipee!

I consider the type of event. Can I be fun and fabulous? Is it a little more straightlaced? Is it during the day or night? Then the creative style juices start flowing.

Thanks to my hand-made Ankara shoes, they made it easier for me to choose what to wear this time.

(I can't explain why most of my pictures on the red carpet are not usually clear. Phew. Enemies are real.) These are the clearest of all the pictures about what I wore on the red carpet for Fire of lafta with Tiblaze . . .

with Lola Best (presenter)
with Pst. Wilberforce (comedian)
with a guest
with Dozie (a brother in Christ)
With a guest
with Cynthia (remember her? She's featured on Heart Rays here and here)
The show was dope. We laughed and danced and danced and laughed.

So that was how I rocked my Ankara shoes - with a little red dress, a hat and an Ankara statement piece. Nice?

Made your own Ankara shoes yet? Send me pictures via email, I'd love to feature your style too. :)
