Today Is Much More Important

Hi. Hi. How are you doing? It's Monday! PYH Series gets me excited on Mondays.

This is 3rd chapter (Joshua 3) on the PYH Series. It is a reminder that the past cannot hinder the future.

Prepare For Today

Key Verse:

"And Joshua said unto the people, Sanctify yourselves: for tomorrow the Lord will do wonders among you."

The best security for the future - success, answered prayers, open doors, breakthroughs etc is today's sanctifying.

Today prepares you for the future.

It might not look like it yet, but it will be it eventually. What you are going through or facing today is only a preparation for what is to come.

This preparation is not just external but internal - our heart, our mind and our spirit needs constant renewal. Some beliefs need to be revamped.

That's one reason to be grateful for the 'Prepare Your Heart' Series. It is very important to sanctify our heart and make it ready to enter into the place we are destined to reign.

Today is the day!

Don’t worry about tomorrow too much. Concentrate on today, maximize the opportunities, the time and route your ways through. How you think and use today or act today, will determine the future.

Key points:

Live each day as if it were your last.
Saturate yourself with the Word.
Dwelling on the failures or misfortunes of the past is useless, for we cannot change them.
The present hours and minutes, pass too quickly and are gone forever, and so, they must be traded only for things of value.

Forget what happened yesterday, or last week, or last month.  Today is much more important.

P.S There is no way I can cover a whole chapter in each PYH post all by myself. If there is something you discovered in your personal study on the Book of Joshua. Please share.

Thanks for reading.
This is the day that the Lord has made, rejoice and be glad in it!
