DIARY: November to Remember (2019)

Consider what God has brought you through in the past. In spite of your current circumstances, how can that give you hope for the future?

November 2019

One of the most amazing things I can say about God is this: He is faithful. He stays closer than a brother, His mercy is new every morning, and He never leaves us alone or forsakes us in the dark times.

Sometimes in order to look forward we have to look back. We have to see God's track record in our lives to be assured of our future. This is me keeping track of God's faithfulness in my life.

Friday 1 — Dancing ballet for the District Women choir at the camp.

Saturday 2 — Celebrating with a friend, PCJ for launching his own medical centre.

Sunday 3 — 'Traditionalis the dress code for today's church service themed 'Praise in a thousand tongues'Kachi and I are literally wearing our traditional wedding outfits. πŸ˜ƒ

Monday 4 — Working on a book trailer for my client.

Tuesday 5 — Recording a voice over for a documentary video.

Wednesday 6 — Sleeping, eating and sleeping again.

Thursday 7 — Gleaning so much from each speaker at the ELC2019

Friday 8 — Attending ELC2019 is such a great deal. "I am the light of the world, not the light of Oshodi/Isolo"

Saturday 9 — Yay, it's a public holiday! Sex, sex and more sex. Lol. Scratch that. Kachi is giving me car driving lessons. πŸ˜‰

Sunday 10 — "Ginger, oh, ginger!" Reaching more people with the message of my new book; He Wasn't My husband at The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG White Chapel parish)

Monday 11 — Thrilled that Tope of RCCG White Chapel has made a post about me on her WhatsApp status. She said, "How time flies. I remember when you used to come to our house for House fellowship before you got married. . ."

She remembers the days when I was a House Fellowship Leader. Oww.  . . so humbling.

Tuesday 12 — Oh, that joy that comes from getting paid for doing what you love!

Wednesday 13 — Reading Apostle Paul's Letters. Weirdly, I imagine sitting with him in heaven and discussing writing.

Thursday 14 — This beautiful university student is telling me about her struggles and offering to be a mentee. . .I am now somebody's mentor. A-ha!

Friday 15 — "Happy Eleven Months of being married, baby!" That's what I woke up to hearing this morning. Ow. . . Thankful. Read 10 months of marriage

Saturday 16 — Having breakfast in bed. All mushy-mushy.

Sunday 17 — Speaking to the teenagers in church about whether having a close relationship with the opposite sex is a good thing.

November 17, 2019
Kachi and I love to dress up in matching clothes. We went white and grey to church😍

Monday 18 — Engaging in a conversation with a graphic designer on managing our multiple potential issues.

Tuesday 19 — Learning new words from the English dictionary. I just discovered that the basket in my kitchen that is usually used for draining water out of food is called a 'colander'.

Hold up, it's International Men's Day! Posting a picture of a friend, my younger brother and my husband on my WhatsApp status to celebrate them. I am writing: Happy International Men's Day to the men I've loved and lost. And those still in my life. You are celebrated. πŸ’›

***
Welcome to December!

If you are like me who is keen on keeping track of life's happenings, try writing one or two sentences per day. It can be electrifying. I've been doing this for years now.

Check Out These Posts:

Take a moment. Stop and remember the times God clearly provided for you in ways that only He could; ways both big and small. Meditate on God's faithfulness. If He did it before, He can do it again.

The first shocker for me about November 2019 is that Kachi is a great and vital part of my life now. It was harrrrrd to record the highlights of each day without him because every day starts and ends with marrying him.

“The unthankful heart discovers no mercies; but the thankful heart will find, in every hour, some heavenly blessings.”
– Henry Ward Beecher

“But the person who trusts in the Lord will be blessed. The Lord will show him that he can be trusted.”
—  Jeremiah 17:7, NCV

Stay inspired.
Stay positive.
Stay beautiful.

What's your plan for having the best of this Christmas season?
