21 Days of Praise: Day 21 - A Heart of Praise

Woohoo! We’ve come to the final day of our #21DaysofPraise series! Today, we focus on cultivating a lifestyle of continuous praise. Praising God isn’t just for special moments or certain days; it’s a daily practice that transforms our hearts and lives.

Living a Life of Praise

Verse of the Day: Psalm 34:1
“I will bless the Lord at all times; his praise shall continually be in my mouth.” — (NIV)

“I will praise the Lord at all times. I will constantly speak his praises.” — (TPT)

Praise is a fundamental aspect of our relationship with God, and understanding its importance can deepen our worship and connection with Him. Why do we praise God?

1. Because of Who He Is:
God is worthy of our praise simply because of who He is. He is the Creator of the universe, the King of kings, and the Lord of lords. His majesty, holiness, and sovereignty command our reverence and adoration.

2. Because of What He Has Done:
We praise God for His mighty acts and wonderful deeds. From creation to salvation, God’s works are awe-inspiring. He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to redeem us, and this ultimate act of love and sacrifice is a central reason for our praise.

3. Because of His Love and Faithfulness:
God’s love and faithfulness are constant and unchanging. He loves us with an everlasting love and remains faithful even when we falter. His compassion and mercy are new every morning, and His faithfulness is great.

Reflecting on my journey, I realize how important it is to maintain a heart of praise in all circumstances. There have been days filled with joy and success, and others marked by challenges and trials. Through it all, praise has been a source of strength and joy. I’ve learned that praising God consistently helps me stay grounded and focused on His goodness. It has a way of shifting our focus from our problems to God's power and presence.

How do you incorporate praise into your daily life?

Song:
Today’s recommendation is “Undignified” by Dunsin Oyekan. This song beautifully expresses gratitude and praise for God's overwhelming love and faithfulness. Let’s dance!

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, we praise You for who You are and for all You have done. Your love, faithfulness, and mighty works are beyond measure. Help us to continually lift our hearts in praise, recognizing Your greatness and goodness in every aspect of our lives. In Jesus' name, Amen.

I searched for “dance” on my Google Photos and found this beautiful video of AY and I dancing together ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿฝ:

As we conclude our #21DaysofPraise series, let’s commit to living a life of continuous praise. Praising God is a continual response to His love, grace, and mighty works. Let's make praise a daily practice, celebrating God's presence and power in our lives.

Thanks for being a part of my journey.

Stay inspired.
Stay positive.
Stay be-YOU-ti-ful.
