21 Days of Praise: Day 11 - Counting Daily Blessings

Welcome to Day 11 of our #21DaysofPraise series! Today, we focus on the multitude of blessings that God showers upon us daily. Often, in the hustle and bustle of life, we may overlook the small, yet significant ways God blesses us each day.

Praise for Daily Blessings

She is a daily reminder… 😊

Verse of the Day: Psalm 103:2-5
“Praise the Lord, my soul, and forget not all his benefits—who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion, who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.” — (NIV)
“With my whole heart—with my whole life and with my innermost being—I bow in wonder and love before you, the holy God! Yahweh, you are my soul’s celebration. How could I ever forget the miracles of kindness you’ve done for me? You’ve kissed my heart with forgiveness, in spite of all I’ve done. You’ve healed me inside and out from every disease. You’ve rescued me from hell and saved my life. You’ve crowned me with love and mercy. You satisfy my every desire with good things. You’ve supercharged my life so that I soar again like a flying eagle in the sky!” — (TPT)
Every morning, I try to start my day by counting my blessings. From the breath in my lungs to the roof over my head, these daily blessings are constant reminders of God’s goodness. I keep a gratitude diary (or journal as it is now called), jotting down every little blessing I noticed throughout the day. This practice shifted my perspective, and I began to see God’s hand in every detail of my life. Even the seemingly insignificant moments—like a kind word from a friend or a beautiful picture—became powerful reminders of God’s love and care.

This is one of the many reasons I look forward to November. Every day, I intentionally share my thoughts, experiences, and blessings publicly. By the end of the year, I am always in awe. God is so faithful. Check out my November to Remember Diaries.

There is so much to be thankful for. It’s all about enjoying the simple things. Some of the best moments of our lives don't come after huge accomplishments or after attaining a desired possession. The best moments in life are hidden in the mundane tasks of the day.

For example, today, being a Saturday, I had a tenth load of laundry I’ve washed. Instead of complaining about the tenth load of laundry I’ve washed and folded, I give thanks for having a washer and dryer that works and clean clothes to put on my body. The best moments in life can be holding a baby, or blessing someone with a word of encouragement. When I look back at my life, I want to remember all the ways God blessed me, even in the little things in life.

Lord, thank You!!!!

Song:
A wonderful Nigerian worship song for today is "Daily as I Live" by Chris Morgan. This song beautifully acknowledges God in our daily lives.

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for the countless blessings You bestow upon us each day. Help us to recognize and appreciate even the smallest of Your gifts. May our hearts be filled with gratitude, and may we always remember to give You praise for Your unending goodness and mercy. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Your Turn:
Take a moment to reflect on your day and count the blessings, big and small, that you have experienced. How has God blessed you today? Share your stories in the comments or on social media with the hashtag #21DaysofPraise.

Try counting your blessings every day. Write in your diary (oops. Journal) one blessing for each day. Even if it's a rough day, try to focus on all the ways you see God at work.

Thanks for stopping by.
Stay inspired.
Stay positive.
Stay be-YOU-ti-ful.
