Son,
Sometimes, I wonder what it will be like to hold you and just stare at you for hours. I even wonder if l’d still look pretty carrying you in my womb before then. I know I'll be different when you come along. I am too excited about you.
Yesterday, I was daydreaming and wondering what you will look like. Maybe you'll be chubby. Maybe you'll have full hair. Maybe you'll be dark and tall. Maybe you'll like to sing. Maybe you'll like to write. Either way—you are going to be a very smart guy.l just know it.
It is my desire to raise sons, whose sisters, wives and children would be proud of. It is my desire to be called blessed for your sake.
You are a blessing. Not just to me, but also to your dad, the family, the church and to the world.

There is a future out there with your name written all over it. Only you can decide if you want to live somebody else's future or if you want to live your own. But I want you to take charge of your life. Though I will train you in the way that you should go, but you will choose how to live your life. You would decide for yourself which path to follow. I want you to be a man who knows what he wants and why he wants what he wants. I want you to stand up for what you believe in.
You are going to make mistakes. In fact, you're going to make a lot of them. And that's good because making mistakes is one way to learn, to grow, to become who you were created to be. Own your mistakes, wear them like trophies. Be quick to amend your ways and apologize when you are wrong. People will love you for it.
Learn to forgive people. Even if they don't deserve it or ask for it. Clear your mind and be conscious of all negative energy.
I pray for you every time I think about you.
I pray that you will develop an eternal perspective and purpose, not a mundane one. I pray that you will set your mind on things above, not just what's going on here (on Earth). I pray that you will be rooted and ground in love. True love.
Love completely. Don't lose sense of your true self to conform or try to be what other people want you to be. God loves you, no matter what. Stay true and always love and serve Him.
You don't need to over sexualize yourself to get attention from girls. Show your heart, show your passions, show your personality - these will bring you the right attention.
Read more books that will benefit your self-growth and add value to your life. Never neglect the Bible. Stay in God.
My boy, I love you just as you are. Always be you.
You know you're amazing, right? I am super proud of you and honoured to have you as a son.

This is a very special letter to my unborn son, first written in my book, He Wasn’t My Husband. Being pregnant with him now makes these words even more meaningful. I’m excited to share this piece of my heart with you.
